Let's start with the epic view. Well that's all there is to say about the view. It's epic. You'll love it. This place serves traditional, basic food. So if you're a vegan this probably won't be for you, everybody else will find something. The service was great and very friendly you feel instantly at home. Food is good, people are nice, views are...epic.
Crotto Isidoro is a pearl with traditional kitchen of northern Italy: polenta (cornmeal like a hot porridge, take Polenta Uncia - it’s amazing!), local unbelievable cheese, salsiccia (sausages), meat. Take set menu for 28.5€ including starters, main dish, wine, dessert, coffee and grappe and enjoy your traditional italian dinner. The restaurant is also a perfect view point. You will enjoy your food watching the best landscape of Como lake in front of you. Inside you can see also their own wine storage. Staff is super nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

It's a place truly out of this world. One feels like a guest in an old tavern with nice and friendly stuff. Beware - this is not a restaurant, nor a bar. Perfect food and wine is served here. Honestly recommended.
Great food ( in particular the polenta uncia) affordable prices, breathtaking view, super friendly staff, amazing atmosphere. Parking might be a bit difficult depending on the day of the week. I visit every year for my birthday
Nice views up the hill, interesting taste experience of local specialities, menu was good value for money. Wear kneecaps and be careful for wasps.
Spectacular view. The food is basic, polenta, sausages and cheese, sausage, stew, etc... but tasty, very reasonably priced.
Family of 8 . We absolutely love the food and the atmosphere. The view are breathtaking and we were so lucky to witness a storm in the view as we were dining. Makes me want to change my citizenship!
